Monan’s Rill is a truly collectively-owned community. We are a partnership, and together we own 414 acres of land. None of us holds individual title to either this land or the buildings upon it. However, each family or individual member does live in a private home.
Upon becoming a Member, an individual contributes an initial monetary investment, and thereafter pays a monthly fee. The funds are used for capital improvements, general maintenance and community business.
